collaboration w/photographer, C.a. Shofed
beginning with C.a. Shofed’s photograph “Red 5,” i discovered the joy of artistic collaboration. with C.a.'s photo of the delaware raritan canal's steel girder, i dug in with paint and collage, front and back. one day, sunlight streamed into my studio just so showcasing the colors and layers most vividly. “we have to light this up!," i declared. and so, we did. this image exhibits the lit version. the lucky purchaser of this piece will receive two versions - lit and unlit... it's like having two artworks in one.
